“On One Flower"

TALE TRAIL - Daily through Oct. 11th

Join us for our 3rd  Tale Trail of the season with the fun rhyming book, “On One Flower.” It's a story about the different insects and bugs that visit the fall-blooming goldenrod flower. Follow the page-signs, reading as you walk along our woodland trails, wildflower meadow, and garden paths. Look for goldenrod flowers in the meadow and gardens. Do you see any of the bugs mentioned in the story?  The book pages will lead you to our Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom where you'll find fun, self-guided, hands-on activities to learn more about insects and pollinators.

Visitors can walk our Tale Trails any day of the week between 9-6 PM and admission is by donation (suggested: $5-$15 per family.) Please stop at the Farm Stand porch first for instructions and donations can be left in the gray box mounted on the wall. Enter the number of people in your group in our Log Book.  For this Tale Trail we have a Scavenger Hunt list on the porch. Take one with you as you walk and check off what you see. Trails are not suitable for strollers. Please leave pets at home.

We'll have one additional Tale Trail this year, allowing our visitors to  walk on different trails, and see new things as they change seasonally here at Petals in the Pines.

“Leaf Man” October 13  through Sunday, November  18th.
