OUR THEME GARDENS
We grow over 250 varieties of flowers and herbs here at Petals in the Pines. There is always something blooming—and you won’t find this incredible freshness and variety at any florist! Our self-service farm stand is stocked on most weekends during the summer, so stop by to see what we have to enhance your kitchen table or lift someone’s spirits.
Need flowers on a weekday? Special occasion on the horizon? Please call ahead and let us know what you need. We’ll be happy to answer your questions about extending the life of your flowers, names of unusual varieties, etc. We can design loose arrangements or even fill your treasured vases.
Flowers from Petals in the Pines have graced:
Birthday parties, anniversaries, and
celebrations of all kinds.
Petals in the Pines is a great place to tour with a garden club or group of friends. With 27 themed gardens and hundreds of flower varieties, there’s plenty to see and learn about! Our plantings are framed by the natural beauty of granite ledge outcroppings, majestic trees, and rolling hillsides. Hummingbirds, butterflies, bumblebees, and song birds make for an ever-changing symphony of sound and motion.
Stroll along our trails and discover something beautiful around every turn! We also have a delightful shady space and shelter for setting up a plant talk and/or catered lunch for your group. In the late summer and early fall our specialty is the Monarch Butterfly Tour. We are a registered Way Station with Monarch Watch. We've planted our very own Monarch Maternity Ward, a space dedicated to milkweed plants and wildflowers which attracts the female monarch for egg laying. Walk the mowed paths through this garden to seek eggs, caterpillars, chrysalis and butterflies. Please Contact Us to discuss your tour plans and possible topics.
